Pricing
Priced per engagement. No retainers.
Flat fees are paid before work begins. Hourly support is billed in set increments. Negotiation packages include every round of the negotiation — not a single exchange — which is why they carry a success fee on the increase in gross base cash severance: the up-front price stays lower and the rest of what we earn is tied to a defined, verifiable outcome instead of how many rounds it takes.

Fulcrum prices are current and live. Agency and attorney figures are typical published ranges for comparable engagements, not quotes, and will vary by provider and location. Fulcrum provides employment advisory and negotiation coaching, not legal services — if you need legal claims assessed or representation in a proceeding, a licensed attorney in your state is the right choice, and these figures are not a substitute for one.
Not sure the fee is worth it?
Put your own figures against these prices. The calculator models what the conversation is worth, shows where a success fee breaks even, and never asks for your email.

Custom Communication Script
A ready-to-send message written for your situation — the asks in the right order, the wording, and the close. Covers every round of the negotiation, not just the first: each time the employer responds, your advisor writes you a fresh script at no extra cost. You must read the script in full and confirm every detail before you send it.
Add it at checkout or any time during your engagement. One purchase covers every round of the negotiation — each new employer response gets a fresh script. You send it yourself, in your own name, after reading it in full.
How the success fee is calculated
The success fee applies strictly to the increase in Gross Base Cash Severance (lump sum or salary continuation). Excluded: equity or option value or acceleration, health/COBRA premiums, accrued PTO, bonuses, outplacement, and any non-cash benefit. Inclusion of any excluded component requires a signed addendum.
- It covers all rounds of the negotiation — every counteroffer reviewed, re-sequenced and coached — with no per-round fee.
- You report the final package; an advisor verifies it against the signed documents.
- We issue an invoice showing the full delta math, then charge the card on file 48 hours later.
- You can contest the calculation in your portal inside that window and the charge is paused.
Delivery, refunds and scope changes
- Delivery
- Rapid and fully async. Work begins once payment clears and your intake is complete, and your playbook lands in the portal without waiting on a meeting. Executive offer and equity work takes longer. Tell us the deadline you are working against and we sequence your case against it.
- Refunds
- Flat fees are paid before work begins. Contact us before an advisor has started and we refund you in full. Once document analysis or advisor intake review has begun, fees are non-refundable, as stated in the engagement agreement. No retainers, no auto-renewals, and no success fee on an outcome an advisor has not verified with you.
- Scope changes
- Further rounds of the same negotiation are never a scope change — they are included in the package. Genuinely new work is issued as a written fee addendum showing exactly what it covers and what it costs. Nothing is charged and no work proceeds until you read and sign it. Fulcrum may adjust published pricing at any time; the price shown when you start an engagement is locked to that engagement.
